Die Autoscroll Die
To disable the most annoying autoscroll "feature" (should be quadruple quotation marks really) in Firefox, just open the "Options" dialog through "Tools --> Options". Then click on the "Advanced" tab, and uncheck the “Use autoscrolling” box.
Problem solved.
